Kara was admitted to practice in 2004 for the State of Colorado and was admitted to practice in 2005 for the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado. Kara attended the University of Colorado School of Law and earned her J.D. in 2004. She attended Creighton University and the University of Colorado at Boulder and obtained her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Colorado in 2001.
